As the world marks another leap day, American rapper, Ja Rule is celebrating his birthday for the 10th time since he was born.

Born Jeffrey Atkins on February 29, 1976, Ja Rule hails Queens in New York. With a career spanning over 2 decades, Ja Rule has dropped 8 albums with his 2001 globally successful record, ‘Pain is love’ getting him a Grammy nomination.

Ja Rule is married to Aisha Murray. The couple tied the knot in 2001 and together have 3 kids. Ja Rule has been to Nigeria twice. First in 2005 for Star Mega Jam and Bovi‘s 2014 concert, ‘Man on fire’.

Like Ja Rule, Nigerian singer, Korede Bello is also celebrating his birthday for only the 5th time since he was born as they were born on a leap day, which occurs once in 4 years.
