Native doctor murders 2 brothers over bullet-proof protection

Malam Ibrahim Muhammed Dabasabe, a native doctor based in Kogi, has been arrested after he murdered two blood brothers who went to him to seek for bullet-proof protection, Daily Trust reports.

The Niger State born young men, Tanko Abubakar and Muhammed Kudu Abubakar, who were acquaintances of the herbalist, had reportedly gone to Dabasabe who also claimed to be a Muslim cleric, for spiritual fortification but he ended up poisoning them and went ahead to bury their bodies behind his compound.
The men had visited Dabasabe based on their familiarity with him when he lived in their family house in Bida some years back. But the charm he allegedly made for them to make someone impervious to bullets and gunshots, had proved to be fake and they had gone back to him to complain. The native doctor, not wanting to be exposed by the brothers, made a concoction laced with a potent poison for them and when death delayed in coming, he made sure of their deaths by using a pestle to smash their skull after which he buried them in his compound.
After he was arrested, Dabasabe confessed that he was confused on what next to do after collecting huge sums of money for the native bulletproof protection.
“So, I decided to poison the two and used pestle to break their heads when the poison did not kill them instantly.”
